Grant PROMISE Sholarship

The Grant PROMISE scholarship is available to students residing in West Virginia, the scholarship is up to $ 4750. Grant PROMISE is a financial aid for the education of West Virginia students. Students who meet certain Academic Tuition requirements have the opportunity to receive a Grant to pay for their undergraduate program, excellent high school graduates will receive a 

$ 4,750 scholarship annually, to reimburse costs, for tuition and mandatory tranches to public and private educational institutions in West Virginia. 


The amount of the scholarship depends on the West Virginia legislature and the annual funding program.


Requirements and rights for participation in the program - Grant PROMISE Sholarship: 

1.No later than March 1, students are required to apply for the PROMISE scholarship. 

2. An eligible free application must be filed by March 1 at the FAFSA. 

3. Students who do not score the required score, or do not meet the GPA requirements, can apply to the PROMISE program again, but they must also apply to the FAFSA by March 1.


Grant PROMISE applicants must be involved in public life, in educational institutions such as high school, or the University, must work at least 20 hours free of charge for the benefit of the educational institution. 


Social activities may include such types of work as: You need to take part in the life of government, state, institutional or community organizations, work involves the development of civic position and responsibility, as well as the establishment of the life of those living in the community, the development of civic position and responsibility, as well as work for the benefit of the community.

Grant Arkansas Challenge Sholarship

 Only those citizens who live in the state of Arkansas are offered the Grant Arkansas Challenge - scholarships are designed for a period of four years, and in the amount of up to $ 14,000, and for a period of two years, and in the amount of $ 4,000.


The Grant Arkansas Challenge will be issued to any high school student, with no restrictions, but meets an ACT or similar condition based on the GPA technical requirement. Detailed conditions for obtaining this scholarship can be found at the link:

High school seniors can apply for this scholarship no later than July 1st. Brief requirements for scholarship applicants: 


1.Must complete a FAFSA Application for Free Federal Student Aid if in need of tuition money. 


2. Must be a resident of the United States of America, Arkansas state.


3. Not be a debtor on a loan for higher education, under the State Federal Program, student funding.


4.Not educated: Bachelor's Degree. 


5. You must undergo a medical commission and receive a certificate of non-addiction to drugs. 


6. Must be a high school graduate, private school graduate, or home school graduate, or complete a freelance study program, and achieve a minimum nineteen ACT or equivalent ACT scores. 


7. Do not serve a prison sentence when applying for or receiving a scholarship. 


8. Must not borrow loans under the Federal Over-Limit Program at the time of application.
